Horror Synopsis

A story of a young girl named Megan who had a difficult and deprived childhood. Her mother died when she was born leaving her dad to be a widowed single parent. Throughout her life her father blames her for the death of her mother, saying if she hadn’t of been born her mother would have never died and as a result her father beats her and severely mistreats her because of it. For the first years of her life she is defenceless and too young to retaliate to her father’s actions. Until finally on her 18th birthday she seeks revenge against her father, swearing down that she will make him pay for all the years of abuse she has had to put up with in her life so far.

On the night of her birthday, she confronts her dad saying how fed up she is with the way he treats her and that she’s moving in with her new boyfriend Sam. As she turns for the door her dad grabs her arm and yanks her back. At this point for the first time in her life Megan feels a variety of negative repressed feelings that she had never felt before and in the moment of the heat she felt strong and swung for her dad, hitting him in the face, knocking him back and onto the floor. As her father lies on the floor, Megan can see the blend of emotions in his eyes of complete astonishment and anger. She flees for the door in hope that it will be the last time she will ever see her father again, however her father is already back on his feet and has a hold of her in which he violently beats her until she is dead.

The story then moves on to around a year later where the date Megan died is approaching its first anniversary. Her dad moved on with his life and was never sentenced for what he done as he buried her body in his own back garden for it to never be discovered by anyone. The only thing people knew and believed was that Megan had moved away with her new boyfriend and no one had seen her since yet Megan's boyfriend Sam was told a different story ans still suspects Megan's dad for her disappearance. As the anniversary approaches, strange things around the house start happening to her dad but he remains reluctant to pay attention to anything suspicious happening. Until he begins to see various flashbacks, from the day Megan was born to her life where he continously beat her until she eventually was beaten to death. These flashbacks appear in every room of the house he goes in until it sends her dad insane and he flees to the garden to dig up Megan's corpse, only to find that her corpse is gone and a letter instead is in her place reading "You will pay!".

The story then goes on to show her dad going completely insane until he sees both the ghost of Megan and her mum, who in the film appear to be the ones who eventually murder Megan's dad, yet the audience will also see a short clip at the end where Sam has came back on the scene, so the audience never find out whether it was Megan and her mum's ghost who killed him or Sam or did his insanity leave Megan's dad to take his own life.
